Who would I like to be?
While I love teaching, budget concerns and the current low unemployment rate have reduced my hours. Before last year I had never worked less than 5 days a week. Our Media Design program closed last year, and since then I've only taught two days a week. I could have applied for unemployment but chose to use my 5 day weekends to explore painting as a career option.
Fast forward to 2016. Painting full time had always been my dream, and I feel very fortunate to have that year under my belt. At the end of the day I decided I enjoy painting more as a hobby than a full time job.
My 2016 New Years resolution is to work full time again in Web Design. This website is a perfect vehicle for me to explore and get back up to speed with the latest trends.
